Frequently Asked Questions
What types of events do you photograph in London?
I photograph a wide range of corporate, commercial and public events across London, including conferences, awards ceremonies, networking events, product launches, exhibitions, festivals, charity events, company celebrations and private functions.
My approach is primarily documentary, capturing the atmosphere, people and important moments of an event naturally, while also making sure you have the key photographs your business needs.
Do you specialise in corporate event photography?
Yes. I regularly work with businesses, agencies, charities and organisations looking for professional event photography in London and across the UK.
I understand that event photographs often need to do much more than simply document what happened. They may be used for internal communications, press and PR, social media, websites, annual reports, marketing campaigns and to promote the next edition of an event.
Are you available for events outside London?
Absolutely. Although I work extensively as an event photographer in London, I regularly travel throughout the UK and can also discuss international assignments.
If your event is outside London, send me the location, date and approximate timings and I can provide a quote based on your requirements.
Can you photograph business portraits and corporate headshots too?
Yes. Alongside event photography, I photograph professional business portraits and corporate headshots for individuals, leadership teams and wider organisations.
Portraits can be photographed at your office, workplace, event venue or another suitable location. If you are bringing a large number of colleagues together for a conference or company event, this can also be an ideal opportunity to update your team's business portraits at the same time.
Can you photograph portraits during our event?
Yes. Event photography and business portraits can often be combined within the same assignment.
For example, I can photograph the main event while also setting aside time for professional portraits of speakers, executives, employees or guests. Let me know what you have in mind when you enquire and I can recommend an approach that works with your schedule.
What is your style of event photography?
My event photography is natural, observational and focused on storytelling. I look for genuine interactions, expressions and moments that communicate what it actually felt like to be there.
Alongside candid photography, I capture the essential details of an event, including the venue, branding, speakers, presentations, audience reactions, networking and any important group photographs.
The aim is to provide a varied collection of images that works both as a record of the occasion and as useful marketing content for your organisation.
Can you work from our event photography brief or shot list?
Yes. I'm very happy to work from an existing photography brief or shot list and regularly work with marketing teams, communications teams, event organisers and creative agencies.
If you don't already have a photography brief, that's fine too. Send me the event details and I can help identify the photographs that are likely to be most useful.
How much does an event photographer in London cost?
The cost of event photography depends on several factors, including the length of coverage, location, timings, the number of photographers required, the type of event and any additional requirements.
For an accurate quote, please use the contact form and include as much information as you currently have, such as the date, venue, approximate timings and type of event. Don't worry if everything hasn't been confirmed yet. I can provide an initial estimate and refine the details with you later.
How far in advance should we book an event photographer?
For major conferences, awards ceremonies and large corporate events, booking as early as possible is recommended, particularly if your event falls during a busy period.
However, I can sometimes accommodate events at relatively short notice, so it is always worth getting in touch to check availability.
How quickly will we receive our event photographs?
Turnaround can be agreed according to the requirements of your event. If your communications or social media team needs a selection of photographs quickly for press, social media or post-event publicity, let me know when you enquire.
I can build priority image delivery into the photography brief where required.
Can you provide photographs during the event for social media or PR?
Yes. If you need photographs while an event is still taking place, or immediately afterwards, this can be discussed in advance.
This can be particularly useful for conferences, launches, festivals and corporate events where marketing, PR or social media teams want to communicate what's happening in near real time.
Do you photograph international companies holding events in London?
Yes. I work with UK and international businesses that need a reliable professional photographer to cover events taking place in London.
If your marketing, communications or events team is based overseas, I can work directly from your brief and coordinate with your London venue, agency or event team where required.
Can our company use the photographs for marketing and communications?
Yes. Event photographs are commonly commissioned for websites, social media, internal communications, PR, editorial coverage and marketing future events.
Usage requirements can vary between organisations, so if you have specific requirements for advertising, international campaigns or other commercial uses, include these when requesting a quote.
Are you insured to photograph corporate events?
Yes. I have professional insurance appropriate for my photography work and can provide documentation where required by a venue, agency or client.
If your venue has specific requirements for photographers or external suppliers, please mention these when you get in touch.
What information do you need to provide an event photography quote?
You don't need to have a complete photography brief before contacting me. The most useful information is the event date, location, approximate timings, type of event and an idea of what you would like photographed.
It is also helpful to know how you intend to use the photographs and whether you need anything specific, such as executive portraits, group photographs, fast-turnaround images or multiple photographers.
Send me whatever information you currently have through the contact form and I can take it from there.
How do I book you as an event photographer?
The easiest way is to complete the contact form on my website with the details of your event or photography requirements.
I'll review the information, confirm my availability and come back to you with any questions and a quote. Whether you're organising a London conference, a company celebration, a nationwide event or simply need new professional business portraits, I'd be happy to discuss what you need.
